Which Motta pitcher is best for latte art?

Are Motta milk pitchers dishwasher safe?

Most Motta stainless steel pitchers are dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended to preserve their finish and appearance over time.

How do I determine the correct tamper size?

Measure the inside diameter of your portafilter basket. For optimal espresso extraction, select a tamper that closely matches the basket diameter.

Which tamper size is most popular?

The 58 mm Motta Tamper is the industry standard and fits most commercial and high-end home espresso machines.

Product Care

How should I clean my Motta stainless steel products?

Wash with warm water and mild dish soap after use and dry thoroughly to maintain the product's appearance and finish.

Why is there a dark residue on my new stainless steel product?

Occasionally, a small amount of polishing residue may remain on stainless steel surfaces after manufacturing. This is completely normal and harmless.

To remove it:

1. Wash the item thoroughly 2–3 times using very hot water and a grease-cutting dish soap.
2. For any remaining residue, gently clean with a soft cloth and a paste made from baking soda and water.
3. For stubborn spots, Bar Keepers Friend® may be used.

Will Motta stainless steel products rust?

Motta products are manufactured using premium food-grade stainless steel that is highly resistant to corrosion when properly cared for.
